Polices and Accessibility

Thank you for your interest in 607 Bay. Prior to booking a stay with us, we advise customers to review our terms and conditions below. As a boutique historic inn, it’s important to keep in mind that not only do we have to ensure an exceptional experience for all our guests, we additionally must preserve the very things that set this place apart — namely the building, atmosphere and location. To facilitate this well, we steadfastly maintain the following practices and policies. Please make your reservation carefully.

GUEST ROOM CONFIGURATION

All guest rooms were designed for double occupancy.

  • Rooms 5 and 6 can be booked together and adjoin to make a two-bedroom suite and can accommodate up to 4 guests.
  • Rooms 5, 6, & 7 can be combined together for a special booking, similar to a wedding suite. It can accommodate 6 guests. This arrangement affords exclusive use of the 2nd floor kitchen and the 2nd floor veranda. This option costs $1,399.00 a night. Rooms cannot exceed their published occupancy.

ACCOMMODATIONS RESTRICTIONS

  • Rooms are designed for double occupancy. If this is exceeded, an additional fee may be added.
  • Children over the age of 12 are welcome. We cannot accommodate rollaways, pack and plays, or cribs.
  • Minimum age to rent a room: 21 years of age.

RESERVATIONS DEPOSIT

  • Advance deposit for 1 (one) night is required at the time of booking your stay.
  • A two-night minimum reservation is required for some holidays and weekends.

CANCELLATIONS – STANDARD BOOKINGS

Cancellations must be made 5 days before check-in (3pm) of the day of scheduled arrival.

  • No-shows and guests who do not cancel within this time will be charged for their booking, plus taxes and fees.
  • Early check-outs are not refunded.
  • Cancellations made 5 days prior to the arrival time will be refunded, less a $25 cancellation fee.
  • To reschedule a booking prior to the 5 day non-refundable period, please contact our staff. All 3rd party website bookings can only be altered by the respective 3rd party operations.

3rd PARTY WEBSITE BOOKINGS

Commonly, 3rd party websites are used in making reservations. Many of these have their own policies and guidelines on booking requirements. All 3rd party website bookings can only be altered by the respective 3rd party operations. If it is stated as ‘Non-refundable and or Non-cancellable’, our in-house 5-day cancellation policy DOES NOT apply. All cancellations and refunds in regard to 3rd party booking will not be eligible and or honored by 607 Bay. For a great experience, please be diligent in making these bookings and read them carefully.

ROOM GUARANTEE POLICY

607 Bay will try to accommodate requests for specific rooms requests; however, room assignments are based on room availability and type; therefore, we cannot guarantee any room number or location. On occasion, unforeseen circumstances necessitate room changes. We are not responsible for room changes necessitated by unforeseen situations or unplanned developments, including weather, that may impact a booking/stay.

Payments Accepted:
Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover are accepted.

Taxes and Fees:
Not included in rate: Current State and Local Accommodations Taxes (subject to change without notice) and a 11.5% Fee, for cash gratuities and 3rd party associated booking fees.
Check-in & Check-out

Check-In is at 3pm.
Check Out is at 11am.

If available, we can extend check out until 12pm. If guests are not checked out by 12pm, there will be an additional late check-out fee added. We do not offer early check-ins. This policy is to ensure enough time for our staff’s duties.

Late arrival
To ensure a relaxing experience for all, it is recommended our guests arrive between 3pm and 7pm. It is not essential that to check in with our staff upon arrival. If arriving after 9pm, we’d appreciate quiet and courteous conduct so as to not disturb other guests.

Gift Certificates
607 Bay is pleased to offer Gift Certificates, which are sold at standard market value. To purchase a Gift Certificate, please call us at (843) 962-3480
Gift Certificates cannot be applied with other discounts. They are non-refundable, and not redeemable for cash. Expired Gift Certificates are not valid beyond the listed date and are nontransferable to other guests.

Redemption
To book a reservation and redeem a Gift Certificate please call us at (843) 962-3480. All reservations are based on availability and double occupancy. Gift Certificates cannot be applied to existing reservations.

Facility ADA accessibility

607 Bay is a Historic Manor House and was built well over a century ago, to the prevailing architectural standards of the that time, and thus it is limited in its ADA accessibility. The building does not have an elevator. This building does not have a ramp. For guests with accessibility needs, we recommend considering alternative lodgings.

PARKING
1 (one) paved handicap access parking space onsite.

Lost, & Forgotten Items

607 Bay is not responsible for lost or stolen items. We do our best to collect ‘forgotten’ items left at the inn, but cannot guarantee their recovery. Retrieval is at your expense and is your responsibility.

Families & Pets

Due to the historic nature of this property, 607 Bay does not permit any pets. Guests in violation of this will have their reservation/stay immediately cancelled and agree to pay in full for their booking in addition to a penalty fee of $500.

No Smoking!

  • 607 Bay is strictly a non-smoking facility, and smoking can result in a fine. Smoking in rooms and/or excessive damage or wear and tear to rooms will result in a $300 cleaning fee, plus charges for any necessary repair.
  • Substance abuse in addition to illegal drug use is strictly forbidden.
  • Smoking on the verandas is additionally strictly forbidden and may result in immediate termination of reservation/stay without a refund.

Free Parking:
607 Bay provides free parking to registered overnight guests. Parking is located off the back of the Historic Manor House. For travel directions by vehicle, please use the 608 Port Republic Street as the location.

Parking Lot Security:
While we believe the parking area to be safe, 607 Bay strongly encourages guests to remove valuables from their cars and secure them. Park at your own risk; 607 Bay assumes no responsibility for lost or stolen items.

High Speed Internet

Up to 200 megabit download and 20 megabit upload speeds.

Electric Door Locks

The state-of-the-art Lockly door locks are designed to provide great flexibility for our guests. For those technically inclined, it’s actually possible to download and use the Lockly App to operate the door.

Door Lock Trouble:
Generally, you have 3 attempts to unlock your door, and then it will lock/freeze. Try pressing the open or home button to get the circle pods to return. Then enter your code (check in your text messages or email from 607 Bay on your device) then press the home/open button. Then repeat this a second time and it should reset the device and thus open the door.

Elevators

There are no elevators in this historic manor house. Please contact us in advance if you have any related questions on mobility at 607 Bay.

Public Restrooms

There is one restroom/powder bath on the main floor of the building, located at the entrance of the common area kitchen. Hours for this space are 9am to 9pm.

Common Space Hours

Entrances:
The Back Entrances: Open for use via the keypad 24 hours a day. This is our primary entry.
Historic Front Door: For security reasons, staff will lock this door after approximately 9pm.

Porches/Verandas:
1st Floor Porch: open 24 hours a day, but due to the location, we’d advise socializing be limited to reasonable waking hours.
2nd Floor Porch: open 9am to 9pm. Please be respectful of the privacy of all of our guests. Under some circumstances, this porch maybe unavailable due to room rentals.

Kitchen Areas & Powder Bath:
Common areas including the lobbies, powder bath, and kitchens will be available between 9am to 9pm. Please be courteous, quiet, and mindful of all of our guests. We want everyone to have a great stay.
